Product Overview

The ViewSonic VG2441V is a 24-inch Full HD video conferencing monitor with a built-in 5MP Windows Hello-certified IR webcam, integrated microphone, and speakers providing a complete conference room workstation display in a single unit. At 120Hz on an IPS panel, it handles both standard productivity work and video calls without requiring an external camera or audio peripherals. The combination of Windows Hello facial recognition, USB-C connectivity, and a full ergonomic stand makes this an efficient choice for corporate hoteling stations, private offices, and small conference rooms.

Product Description

The VG2441V integrates a 5MP camera with an IR sensor certified for Windows Hello facial recognition, providing secure single-sign-on without a password or external authentication device. The camera tilts 5 degrees independently from the monitor and includes a physical privacy shutter for complete control over when the camera is active. Built-in microphone and 2W x2 speakers handle audio for video calls without requiring a USB headset or external speaker. Connectivity includes HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort, and two USB-C ports (one signal-only for video/audio/data, one with 15W Power Delivery), plus two USB-A ports and a 3.5mm audio output. The full ergonomic stand supports 150mm height adjustment, 90 swivel, 90/90 pivot, and 5/20 tilt. Hardware-based blue light filtering is always on with no software dependency. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does the USB-C port support video input?
A: One USB-C port supports video, audio, and data (signal only). The second USB-C port provides 15W Power Delivery only. Neither USB-C port supports full USB-C docking or DisplayPort Alt Mode beyond signal pass-through.

Q: Is Windows Hello compatible with all Windows versions?
A: Windows Hello facial recognition requires Windows 10 or Windows 11. The IR camera is certified by Microsoft for single-user sign-on.

Q: Does the privacy shutter disable the IR sensor as well?
A: The physical privacy shutter blocks the lens. ViewSonic recommends checking Windows Hello IR sensor behavior when the shutter is closed, as IR behavior may vary by system configuration.

Q: What video conferencing platforms are compatible?
A: The built-in 5MP camera and microphone work as standard UVC devices compatible with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, and other major conferencing platforms without custom drivers.

Q: What is the warranty on the VG2441V?
A: The VG2441V carries a 1-year limited warranty on parts, labor, and backlight shorter than the 3-year coverage on other VG series models. Confirm warranty requirements before procurement.

Q: Can this monitor be used with a monitor arm?
A: Yes. VESA 100x100mm mounting is supported. The stand can be removed for arm or wall mount installation.
