The TD1656-2K is the higher-performance option; the TD1655 provides a lower entry price for standard HD portable touch use.

Q: Can the TD1655 charge my laptop?
A: When the TD1655 is connected to an external USB-C power source (charger or power bank), it can pass power through to the connected laptop. When the only power source is the laptop itself, power flows from the laptop to the display.

A: Touch support on macOS is enabled via ViewSonics vTouch driver on Intel and Apple Silicon systems. iOS and iPadOS are not supported.

Q: Can it be used in portrait orientation?
A: Yes. The built-in stand supports both landscape and portrait orientations with adjustable tilt.

Q: Is the TD1655 suitable for a permanent desktop setup?
A: It can be used as a permanent secondary touch monitor, but it is primarily designed for portable use. The built-in stand provides limited tilt adjustment compared to a traditional monitor stand. For a fixed-desk touch monitor, consider the TD2230 or TD2455.

Q: Is a stylus included?
A: Yes. A passive touch stylus is included in the box.
