The Extron CS 3T is a compact, plenum-rated ceiling speaker designed for clear speech reproduction and background music in low-volume distributed audio applications. Featuring a 3.5-inch (89 mm) full-range driver in a low-profile, metal back-can enclosure, it delivers intelligible audio with a frequency response of 120 Hz to 20 kHz and wide dispersion for consistent coverage. The integrated 70/100 V transformer provides multiple power taps up to 8 W, plus an 8-ohm bypass for low-impedance systems, making it compatible with Extron amplifiers or standard commercial audio setups.

The UL 2043 listed plenum-rated construction ensures compliance for air-handling spaces, while the magnetically attached paintable grille and included C-ring/tile support rails simplify secure installation in standard drop ceilings. Ideal for classrooms, conference rooms, hallways, open offices, retail spaces, and other environments requiring discreet, high-clarity paging or background audio with minimal visual impact.
